Always the BBC

I don't really consider mental health as any sort of excuse for committing a crime.  I have suffered poor mental health for over twenty years and I have never used it as an excuse for anything, never mind trying to push away allegations of being a dirty bastard by saying I'm autistic.

Yet this is exactly what Gregg Wallace is trying to do now.

Now that the BBC no longer wants to fund him because of his behaviour, he's blaming it on being autistic.  As if he thinks that thousands of autistic people are going to come out and say 'yes Gregg, we forgive you because being autistic is an excuse for being a pervy bastard.'

It is not.  And neither is any form of mental health he might want to come up with.  He is a "wrong'un" and that terminology crosses all dialectics across the UK.

This guy has tried to turn his perverted behaviour into something that he thinks should be considered normal because he said he couldn't wear tight underwear.  I'm not sure anyone really likes tight underwear, especially during the summer months, but most would just switch to looser fitting pants rather than subjecting anyone to surprise willy.

This tosspot trying to use his money to get himself off pervert accusations.  He'll use every mental health "out" that he can to try and preserve his career - it won't work - because he thinks he should be allowed to be pervy.

What you can see by the allegations made towards him is that he used his position of BBC power over people he considered lower than him and wouldn't make complaints, which is true - they didn't.  However, they have spoken up now and are part of the Banijay UK investigation.

The BBC, not wanting to be accused of covering up yet another pervert, produced an article a few days ago into the behaviour of Gregg Wallace and it is damning towards the presenter and they feel confident about publishing this because they weren't the production company.  Even though at least one allegation stemmed from their own produced cooking programme.

It's 2025 and we're hearing that issues that have arisen over the last few years were not reported because still people thought if they did raise them they'd be blacklisted within the BBC or within television production overall. This means there is still a strong "cover up" culture prevalent and people within the industry are aware of it.  Even if the BBC didn't produce Gregg's programmes, why is it the BBC yet again who are embroiled in the cover up? It's never any other broadcaster, always the BBC.  Are other channels throwing so much money at victims that they never come forwards, ever? Or has the BBC an inherent problem where perverts feel comfortable there no matter the production company?
